Welcome to ESVCN

ESVCN is a non-profit organisation with the following objectives: to generate interest, stimulate research and disseminate knowledge in veterinary nutrition, comparative nutrition and nutrition-related diseases; to promote pre- and post-graduate education in veterinary and comparative nutrition; to stimulate the application of clinical nutrition in veterinary schools by cooperation between nutritionists and clinicians; and to cooperate with other societies with related interests.

Join ESVCN

ESVCN membership is open for science graduates (worldwide) and students working towards a science graduate degree interested in the topic area and is not restricted to veterinarians.

ESVCN holds an annual congress, which moves from country to country within Europe, where some of the latest research on veterinary and comparative nutrition is presented . The congress also includes plenary lectures on specialist subjects and may contain workshops or auxiliary days on specific topics as well as holding debates on ‘hot’ topics within the field of veterinary and comparative nutrition.

ESVCN2020 now a WEBINAR CONGRESS

10/02/2020

Following the Covid-9 pandemic, the Board has taken the decision to run this year’s ESVCNCongress as an online WEBINAR CONGRESS on the previously announced days of:

Thursday 17th- Saturday 19thSeptember 2020 - Block your Diary !!

We hope to see you all ‘virtually’ there.  In order to keep session times manageable and easy to attend from around the world we have opted for the following session layout (details still provisional):

Registration will be kept extremely low at €30 for members and students and €60 for non-members

We will announce opening of Registration shortly.

With every change comes an opportunity. ESVCN will show-case itself through this international platform – please pass the word on within your organisations. A certificate of attendance will be provided.

As we absolutely do not want to miss the fabulous Congress which has already been beautifully planned for Portugal, at Vila Real (UTAD), this will now become the ESVCN Congress for 2021. Please put the following dates in your diary: ESVCN2021: 8-11thSeptember 2021, Portugal – when we will meet again. The following ESVCN Congress, 2022 will take place in Zürich, Switzerland.
